How to Add an Apartment on Grovestay

This guide shows how to add your apartment to Grovestay and activate it for guest bookings. Complete verification, connect payouts, subscribe, and set your pricing and cancellation rules.

 

1. Add Your Apartment

You can add the listing with the help of your Grovestay manager.
Once the apartment is added, you will need to activate it before it becomes visible to guests.

During the beta phase, we transfer your listings into the app for you.
All you need is a property description and photos.
If your apartment is already listed on an OTA platform, you can simply share the link with your manager, and we will quickly import your property with all its information into the Grovestay catalog.

 
 

✔ Pass Verification

You must complete host identity verification before your listing can go live.

✔ Add Your Stripe Payout Account

A connected Stripe account is required to receive payouts for guest bookings.

✔ Subscribe to a Plan

An active subscription is necessary to host on Grovestay.


3. Pricing

When entering the price, include taxes and fees if you want the guest to pay for them.
If you don’t include them, they will be deducted from your payout.


4. Cancellation Rules

Grovestay offers three cancellation options. Choose the one that fits your hosting style:

Strict

  • Full refund if canceled 10+ full days before arrival (local time), minus the processing fee.

  • If canceled 7–10 days before arrival:

    • 50% of the nightly rate is refunded

    • 50% of the cleaning fee is refunded

    • Processing fee is non-refundable

  • If canceled less than 7 days before arrival, or if the guest leaves early:

    • No refund for unused nights

    • Processing fee remains non-refundable


Medium

  • Full refund if canceled 5+ full days before arrival, minus the processing fee.

  • If canceled fewer than 5 days before arrival:

    • No refund

    • Processing fee is non-refundable

  • If the guest leaves early after check-in, unused nights are not refunded.


Light

  • Full refund if canceled at least 24 hours before arrival, minus the processing fee.

  • If canceled less than 24 hours before arrival:

    • No refund.


5. Subscription

Grovestay currently offers one subscription option:

Base Plan

  • $1 for the first 90 days

  • Then $49/month after the trial period

An active subscription is required to publish your apartment on the platform.
